About Us

Kliss Trading Pvt Ltd was founded in 1995 by our MD VNK Moorthi and has grown to be a reputed trading house based in Chennai, India. The business started with agricultural produce and quickly diversified into ferrous scrap and fertilisers. In 2001, the company took up non-ferrous scrap and in 2003, aluminium alloy ingots.

In 2006, Kliss entered into a joint venture to set up an aluminium smelter in Thailand to produce 30,000 Mts of secondary aluminium alloy ingots primarily for exports to India to serve the automobile diecasting industry.

Kliss as a marketing arm in India for foreign suppliers facilitates in developing business by interacting with end industrial users, selling, executing and getting after-sales feedback. Similarly, the company works with Indian exporters to develop business abroad with their contacts around the world.

In this process, we have developed customer satisfaction leading to long-term relationships that go beyond just doing business.

As a company, we use our experiences in each commodity to horizontally expand into other commodities, achieving stability and growth in revenues with a clear focus to our role in international trading. Our flexibility allows reinitiating / revisiting commodities once they are lucrative for our suppliers and customers again due to market circumstances.
